Custom and Special Order Jewelry

At Expressions Jewelers, we’re committed to clear communication and a smooth experience from start to finish. Here’s what to expect when you receive a quote or place a special order with us:

Quotes are valid for 10 calendar days from the date they are given. Pricing and availability may change after that time.

A 50% deposit is required to begin all custom projects and special orders.

Significant center diamonds and gemstones must be paid in full at the time of selection to secure availability and pricing.

These policies help us ensure timely service, secure your selected materials, and maintain fair and consistent pricing.

Layaway

Layaway is available for in-store purchases only.

Maximum four-month layaway available on qualifying in-stock purchases of $300 or more. Not available on discounted merchandise, not available on special orders. 

A 25% deposit and up to four-equal monthly payments required. The item must be paid-in-full and picked-up by the completion date.

If the item is not collected within four months, a refund will be issued in the original form of payment less a $25.00 cancellation fee.

Repair Terms

Items are submitted to Expressions Jewelers for repair only and we will not act as an insurer of the items listed for repair. We will repair or replace any article that is lost, stolen, or damaged due to our negligence, up to the value declared by the customer. Should no value be listed it will be assumed that value is less than $75.00.

Listed prices and verbal estimates are predicated on Expressions Jewelers keeping any and all old material. Minimum charge of $25.00 for returned material.

Expressions Jewelers is not responsible for articles left over 90 days.

Customer-Provided Disclaimer

At Expressions Jewelers, we’re proud to offer custom design and repair services with your personal gemstones, jewelry, and precious metals. When working with items we did not originally produce, items that have been previously repaired, or items with extensive wear/damage, it’s important to understand that there are inherent risks involved. By proceeding with custom or repair services using client-provided materials, you acknowledge and accept the following terms:

Stone Setting and Jewelry Work
  • Expressions Jewelers cannot be held responsible for damage to client-owned gemstones or jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to, potential damage during stone removal, cleaning, setting, or repair.
  • Many gemstones may have existing fractures, chips, inclusions, prior treatments, or unknown prior repairs. These characteristics may not be visible and can increase the likelihood of damage during routine handling or setting.
  • By authorizing Expressions Jewelers to work with your item(s), you agree to assume all risks associated with previous wear, instability, or inherent flaws, and release us from liability should damage occur.
  • We will visually inspect all items prior to beginning work and will notify you of any visible concerns. However, not all risks can be detected before service begins.
Use of Client-Provided Metals
  • We may accept customer-supplied gold or platinum for use in fabrication, but cannot guarantee that these materials will be suitable for reuse.
  • Recycled metals can develop porosity or structural weaknesses that affect the durability and appearance of the finished piece.
  • Use of client metals will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If we determine the material is not suitable for use, we will return it or, if feasible, apply its value as a credit toward your project.
Limit of Liability and Insurance Disclaimer
  • Items are submitted to Expressions Jewelers for service only. Expressions Jewelers does not act as an insurer for any customer-provided gemstones, jewelry, or metals.
  • In the rare event of loss, theft, or damage due to our proven negligence, we agree to repair or replace the item up to the value declared by the client. If no value is declared, it will be assumed to be less than $75.00.
  • We recommend that all clients independently insure valuable items prior to having them repaired or incorporated into custom work.

Please note that cash payments are only accepted for in-store transactions.

Online Purchases

For purchases made through our website (expressionsjewelers.com), we accept the following payment methods:

At this time, we do not accept cash, checks, or money orders for online transactions.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. Please refer to our Return Policy for detailed information.
